My Start
I was born and raised in Ridgewood, New Jersey. At 17, I started my own pet-sitting company. What began as a small side job quickly grew, and along the way, I found myself constantly designing, teaching myself new platforms and creating anything the business needed.
By my senior year, I was spending much of my school day designing, printing, and managing the company, which had expanded to five employees and become a fully insured LLC. I built the brand from the ground up, designing the logo, business cards, website, social media, stickers, pet report cards, posters, flyers, pricing brochures, and door hangers.
I entered San Diego State University as an entrepreneurship major, convinced that my passion was business.
It wasn’t until I stepped back that I realized what I actually loved wasn’t just building something, it was designing it.
As of May 2026, I have earned my Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, continuing the work I started long before I knew what to call it.

Design Studio
Selected for a competitive, nomination-based studio led by the Director of the Graphic Design Department, Gary Benzel. Collaborated with real clients to develop professional, concept-driven design solutions.
Student Symposium
Nominated by my packaging professor, Arzu Ozkal, to present LoveBites, a packaging design project, at San Diego State University’s Student Research Symposium.
Founder & Director
Founded and manage a pet-sitting business, Tailmates, overseeing branding, marketing, client relations, employee management, invoicing, and scheduling.
